First Meeting of FWIF

Thanks to all attendees we had a great night last night in the stunning conference room of Frankfurt Main Finance.

Overlooking the Main as the sun set, we talked about topics important to the entire Fintech community, but of particular importance to women trying to break into the biz, as founders or those who support the same. These will for now become major goals as we try to grow our group, and support women (and men) in this exciting and dramatically changing industry.

These are:

1. More education in general, about what FinTech actually is.

2. Where is the money and how can this be leveraged to support more startup activity, including of women. This includes government funds, finding and supporting Fintech founders and leveraging overall female talent as well as broader financial and IT education about how they mesh.

3. How do we continue to promote our members and the rest of the Frankfurt Fintech community?

4. Building our network - both to other women and to the broader FinTech community

5. Generating more support - both of the group and our members.

6. Matchmaking - how do we find each other?

7. Overall sponsorship from the community.
